Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Setter Operator to work permanently at their site in Crewe

For the successful Machine Setter Operator our client is offering:
  • Starting salary of £31,193.57 inclusive of shift allowance
  • Double days role, Monday to Friday, 6 am - 1.25 pm / 1:20 pm - 9 pm
  • Permanent position
  • 25 days + bank holidays 
  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Salary increase to £33,061.53 upon successfully passing probation 
The role - Machine Setter Operator:
  • Prepare, set up, and run dedicated operating machines
  • Maintain ‘run speed’ to produce planned work within a specified shift
  • Responsibility for 2-3 Finishing Assistants during shift
  • Ensure accurate completion of required documentation
  • Carry out scheduled machine maintenance
  • Maintain Company standards relating to conduct and performance, Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety
What our client is looking for in a Machine Setter Operator:
  • Must be an experienced machine operator (minimum 3+ years)
  • Experience of 4 corners, crash locks, straight line cartons, and 5th panels - ESSENTIAL 
  • Good standard of Maths, written and spoken English (GCSE level or equivalent)
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
