Machine Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well known Engineering Company in their search for a Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Lytham.

For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:

• £11.66 - £12.50 per hour (DOE)
• Mon to Thurs 7am - 4:30pm
• Temp to Perm
• 4 day week
• Opportunity to go permanent in a growing business

The role - Machine Operative:

• Maintain high-quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products
• Operation of belt linishers and pedestal polishers
• Proactive communication with supervisors, managers, and quality control regarding production, quality, and H&S issues
• Operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment
• Meet hourly production targets

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :

• Understanding of basic IT (ESSENTIAL)
• Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities (ESSENTIAL)
• Previous experience in a similar role i.e belt grinding, linishing (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in metal finishing (BENEFICIAL)
