MIG Welder

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established manufacturer in their search for a MIG Welder to work in Wem.

For the successful MIG Welder our client is offering:

• Up to £28,000 per annum basic salary
• 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday, early finish Friday
• Permanent position
• Overtime paid at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday & Double time Sunday
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays
• Overalls and uniform will be provided
• Upskilling and training will be provided

The role - MIG Welder:

• Must be able to work from and understand Engineer drawings
• Using jigs and fixtures to align components accurately for the weld/plate process
• General fabrication work
• Working on one off pieces and other small batch work.
• Daily use of measuring equipment

What our client is looking for in a MIG Welder:

• City & Guilds or equivalent in Fabrication and Welding -ESSENTIAL
• Experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• MIG welding experience - ESSENTIAL
• Experience working in an Engineering workshop - ESSENTIAL
