Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Payroll Officer to work in their leading facility in Bridgnorth.

For the successful Payroll Officer our client is offering:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £30,000 - Depending on experience
  • Full time hours 37 per week - 8:30am-5pm and 8:30am-3:15pm finish on Fridays
  • Permanent position
  • Pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The role - Payroll Officer:

  • Managing the Time & Attendance system in order to submit information to the Payroll providers
  • Liaising with Managers ensuring all Time & Attendance information is correct
  • Reviewing the Time & Attendance system for any mistakes / anomalies prior completing schedules for the Payroll provider
  • Managing absence information in SSP rules / rates & the companies sick pay rules 
  • Referring any issues back to managers and try to prevent these re occuring
  • Sending Pension information to the Payroll provider
  • Liaising with HR to ensure new starter information is correctly uploaded direct into the Payroll providers software

What our client is looking for in a Payroll Officer:

  • Strong level of Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SSP / SMP process
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes to ensure effective communication with the Payroll providers
  • Able to work to deadlines
