Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a Ruabon-based manufacturing company in their search for Automation Design Engineer

For the successful Automation Design Engineer our client is offering:
  • Up to £33,000 per annum
  • Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 17.15pm - Friday 4.15pm
  • Permanent role with a progressive company 
  • Every second Friday non working 
  • Development opportunities within the company
The role - Automation Design Engineer:
  • Design of Automated Machines / Equipment from First Principles to Full Design
  • Lead Design reviews
  • Lead Machine Risk Assessment Review
  • Prepare and present project information and costs at Stage gate 1 to 3
  • Prepare project costings including BOM
  • Provide support for modifications / design changes found at Build / Commissioning stages of the project
  • Support Existing Equipment both in BIUK and other companies
What our client is looking for in a Automation Design Engineer:
  • A Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar ESSENTIAL
  • Have an interest in system / mechanical assembly design ESSENTIAL
  • Good experience of using 3D CAD, but full training on Solid Edge will be provided and must be able to demonstrate practical CAD skills BENIFICIAL
  • A proactive problem solver with an analytical approach. We want a team member who is dedicated and tenacious with an ability to quickly learn new concepts, take ownership of tasks and work to tight deadlines ESSENTIAL
