Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established Engineering Workshop in their search for a CNC Programmer based near Deeside.

For the successful CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator, our client is offering:

  • £33,280 - £36,400 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Friday Days (8-Hour Shifts)
  • Permanent
  • Overtime Available 

The role - CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator:

  • Develop CNC programs for Featurecam/Mastercam for lathe operations based on engineering drawings/models and specifications
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe to produce precision parts
  • Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
  • Assemble and disassemble machine components as needed
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

What our client is looking for in a CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator: 

  • Must have experience in operating HAAS/HYUNDAI/BROADBENT machines. - ESSENTIAL 
  • Must have experience in programming using FeatureCam or MasterCam - ESSENTIAL 
  • Proficiency in CAD software for creating or modifying part designs
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
  • Proficiency in tooling selection, assembly, and fabrication techniques
  • Experience with materials handling and inventory management in a warehouse setting
  • Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and programming languages used in CNC machines
  • Knowledge of welding processes and techniques
