Electrical Maintenance Technician

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work in their leading facility in Stafford Park, Telford.

Although this is an Electrically biased position, the hiring manager would like someone who is Multi Skilled.

This role will be working a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift Monday to Friday but you will be required to train on days for the first couple of weeks.

For the successful Electrical Maintenance Technician our client is offering:

1. Basic salary just over £32,400 per annum
2. Rotating 6-2/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday
3. Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
4. Permanent position
5. Pension – Company Pension or Auto enrolment
6. 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
7. Health & Life assurance

The role – Electrical Maintenance Technician;

1. Managing contractors including undergoing inductions, risk assessments and reviewing the company handbook
2. Communicate any planned maintenance to the Senior Management team
3. Investigate all equipment failures, recommend and implement improvements 
4. Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
5. Assist with the introduction of new equipment which could include testing and trialling
6. Identify any equipment critical spare parts
7. Develop a relationship with key providers of spares, material and equipment
8. Conduct regular PPM on machines within production

What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Technician;

1. Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
2. Certificates/qualifications within Engineering, preferably Electronics Engineering - PREFERRED
