Production Supervisor

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for 2 Production Supervisors to work in their leading facility in Telford

You MUST have previous supervisory experience, previous experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry is ESSENTIAL.

For the successful Production Supervisors our client is offering;

1. 4 on 4 off shifts - 7.30/7.30 (days and nights will be required)
2. Annual salary just over £36,000 per annum (D.O.E)
3. Pension – Company Pension (8%) or Auto enrolment
4. After a year’s continuous service and validation, an opportunity to gain extra weeks holiday
5. Benefits – health cash plan after a year’s service
6. Permanent position
7. Full time hours
8. Pension, Auto-enrolment

The Role - Production Supervisor;

1. Monitoring the teams performance across the shift
2. Lead and effectively manage a team of team leaders on each production line.
3. Observing compliance on each production line to achieve efficiency
4. Complete all quality control documentation accurately and clearly start and end of shift
5. Apply Continuous Improvement techniques 
6. 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, quality, housekeeping and safety systems
7. Working with production manager and the technical team to ensure forward planning
8. Shift handovers with other supervisors

What our client is looking for in a Production Supervisor;

1. Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
2. Previous experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry - ESSENTIAL
3. Competent with Microsoft Office Packages 
4. Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
