Job Details:

  • Pay: £30,900 per annum (Inclusive of SA)
  • Hours of Work: Annualised Hours | Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Enhanced pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Job Role: As a Process Technician, you will operate and maintain key manufacturing equipment for filtration and vial filling processes. Your role ensures compliance with safety standards and SOPs, managing hazardous materials and maintaining inspection readiness. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules, support validation and documentation, and engage in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating process machinery within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Ability to take initiative, pitch in, be proactive, and be part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, including out-of-hours work to support manufacturing continuity

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant scientific subject

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Wrexham-based pharmaceutical manufacturer, in their search for a Science Graduate to join their state-of-the-art production facility.

For the successful Science Graduate, our client is offering:

The role – Science Graduate:

  • Assist in the full end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing process, supporting both upstream and downstream operations.
  • Operate process equipment including vial filling, lyophilisation, and capping machinery.
  • Carry out basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and equipment setup duties.
  • Monitor output and quality, completing all documentation to GMP standards using SOPs and logbooks.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant workspace, contributing to inspection readiness and internal audits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Support environmental and utility monitoring (e.g. WFI sampling and alarm response).

What our client is looking for in a Science Graduate:

  • A recent Science Degree (ideally in Biology, Chemistry, or related) – ESSENTIAL
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn aseptic processes and GMP standards
  • Keen interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing – ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be immediately available with no significant upcoming holidays that will impact training - ESSENTIAL
