Recruit4Staff (Wrexham) Ltd, Recruit4staff (NW) Ltd and Recruitment Agency Support Limited are committed to continually improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking. We must take a strong and collective stand to stop the callous and brutal people who are prepared to use individuals for their own personal gain. By increasing supply chain accountability, more workers will be protected and consumers will have greater confidence in the goods and services they buy. That is why the transparency in supply chains provision in the Modern Slavery 2015 Act is world leading and will bring about the change that is so vitally needed.

Our Business

Recruit4staff Group consists of Recruit4staff Wrexham Limited, Recruit4staff NW Limited and Recruitment Agency Support Limited. We provide services as both Recruitment Business and Recruitment Agency to a diverse range of industries.

Who we work with

We have a close working relationship with all the employers we partner with and the job seekers we place, as they are personally recognized and acknowledged by our team. Our staff identifies each of the temporary workers we provide. It's worth noting that a portion of these job seekers operate through their own limited companies.

Our clientele of hiring companies is spread across the UK, with a strong presence in the West Midlands and the North West regions. Similarly, the work-seekers we assist typically reside within a reasonable commuting distance from one of our local branches.

Our Policies

Recruit4staff has a modern slavery policy which is published on Athena we also have other related policies Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Ethical Trading Policy, Equality Opportunities and Dignity at Work, Diversity Policy which are all provided to our staff during induction and can also be found on Athena.

Policy development and review

Recruit4staff policies are established by our directors, and Stakeholders based on advice from Peninsula Business Support, industry best practice and legal advice, and in consultation with our clients, candidates & Third Party Suppliers. All Policies are reviewed annually.

Our Processes for Managing Risk

To evaluate the risk of modern slavery, we employ the following procedures in our interactions with suppliers:

When engaging with suppliers, we request documentation that substantiates their procedures and policies. This encompasses their commitments regarding modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, human rights, and whistle-blowing.

We execute thorough audits before formalizing any commercial partnerships with businesses that exhibit potential risk. These audited entities constitute the foundation of our preferred supplier list.

We regularly reassess the risk potential, considering the need for re-auditing suppliers or performing spot checks as necessary.

Following careful examination, we have not identified any significant instances of modern slavery, forced labor, or human trafficking within our supply chain. Nonetheless, we maintain vigilance concerning potential issues.

Furthermore, we have implemented the subsequent measures to mitigate any potential challenges:

  • We retain the authority to carry out spot checks on our suppliers when investigating complaints.
  • We mandate that our partner businesses adhere to our code of supplier conduct.
  • We engage in collaborative efforts with our suppliers to enhance standards and transparency throughout our supply chain.

Additionally:

  • Only senior staff members who have undergone specialized training to assess modern slavery risks in the supply chain are authorized to formalize contracts and establish commercial relationships in high-risk areas.
  • We ensure that all our suppliers are affiliated with relevant industry bodies and participate in working groups.
  • We actively encourage all staff to promptly report any concerns they may have to the management team.

Our Performance

In our ongoing evaluation of Recruit4staff Group's performance, we monitor the following key performance indicators:

  • Comprehensive staff inductions that include information on Modern Slavery.
  • Continuous training, including role-play and scenario exercises designed to highlight 'Red flag' issues related to Modern Slavery.
  • Staff appraisals to ensure that our team members are well-informed about the subject, know how to report it, and can access supportive materials from Peninsula.

Our Training

  • All of our staff receive training and support that is appropriate to their role. In particular:
  • All our employees receive information designed to raise awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking, enabling them to report any concerns to management.
  • Introduction of worker checklist for spot checks on all contracts
  • All candidates to now provide their own bank account details.

As a component of our training, our staff members are urged to openly address any concerns they may have within the branch or in a confidential manner if preferred.

Our training is updated on an annual basis, or whenever a promotion to a senior role necessitates an augmentation of knowledge, enabling effective knowledge transfer to other team members.
