The recent Wrexham Job Fair, organised by Communities For Work Wrexham and the Department for Work and Pensions, welcomed over 450 candidates – and from the moment the doors opened, the energy didn’t stop.

Our Recruit4staff stand was buzzing all afternoon with engaging chats, CV drop-offs, and – of course – a generous stash of Haribo and branded merch to keep the vibe going!

A huge shoutout to Tom and Matthew, who manned the stand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and just the right amount of charm (although we did catch Tom getting a bit too enthusiastic scouting out other stands for the best merch – we’ll let him off!).

Meanwhile, Adam was out working the floor – leaflets in hand, chatting with attendees, and making sure the Recruit4staff brand was impossible to miss. If you saw an A2 sign being waved about or caught a glimpse of some impromptu dancing, that was definitely us. No regrets!

But beyond the fun and freebies, this event was a fantastic chance to reconnect with brilliant local organisations, meet new faces, and have meaningful conversations about how we can continue helping people move into sustainable, rewarding employment.

We’re genuinely grateful for the partnerships that make events like this possible and proud to be part of a community that’s so committed to skills development and opportunity across the region.

All in all, a hugely successful day – and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
