The Role - Finance Analyst:

What our client is looking for in a Finance Analyst:
  • AAT or Degree level qualification - ESSENTIAL 
  • Studying towards a further finance qualification ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA -ESSENTIAL 
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry -ESSENTIAL 
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of excel and Microsoft teams 
  • Inter-Personal Skills with ability to communicate to non-financial professionals
  • Flexible approach to working pattern required

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hospitality management who can oversee all aspects of a food-serving pub, including front-of-house service, kitchen coordination, staffing, stock control, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

What our client is offering the successful General Manager:
  • Annual salary £34,000 plus 10% of net profits
  • Established customer base
  • Permanent position
  • Immediate interviews
The Role:
  • Responsible for all onsite operations
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
  • Organising and promoting social events to enhance revenue of the site
  • Providing excellent levels of customer service and offering solutions to complaints
  • Responsible for all Health and Safety on site
  • Responsible for staff recruitment and management, conducting regular reviews, organising staff rotas and payroll.
  • Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining stock levels
  • Maximising revenue and margin
  • Cash handling, responsible for petty cash and keeping detailed records
  • Completing all finance paperwork in a timely manner and submitting to Head Office within agreed timeframes

For the successful Business Support Assistant, our client is offering:
  • £12.85 per hour 
  • Monday to Friday, Days role, 37 hours per week 
  • Possibility of a permanent contract for the right person

The role - Business Support Assistant:
  • Serve as the main contact for all internal and external enquiries.
  • Provide excellent customer service and reception cover.
  • Enter, update, and retrieve data using internal systems and Microsoft packages
  • Share relevant information with staff and external partners.
  • Organize and manage both electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Handle mail, emails, and manage calendars/diaries.
  • Monitor office supplies and report any shortages.
  • Support basic finance tasks like invoice coding and petty cash.
  • Schedule and organize meetings and take minutes.
  • Keep accurate employee records (leave, sickness, etc.).
  • Follow all relevant policies, including confidentiality health & safety and finance rules.

What our client is looking for in a Business Support Assistant:
  • Numerate and literate (Maths & English at GCSE Grade C or above) 
  • Technical skills: Computer literate, Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages including Outlook, Word and Excel - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
