Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Abbotoir in their search for a Credit Controller to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch.

For the successful Credit Controller our client is offering;

  1. Permanent position
  2. Days role, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm 
  3. Starting salary of £25,168 per annum with a potential increase upon completion of probation
  4. Free parking
  5. Pension scheme

The Role of the Credit Controller:

  1. Ensure all debt is chased effectively and collected within contractual terms
  2. Forecast monthly cash flow
  3. Accurate collection of invoices and allocation of cash/credits in accordance with agreed targets
  4. Preparation and presentation of regular debtors’ reports
  5. Dealing with credit account applications, agreeing credit terms
  6. Monitoring credit limits/terms and taking action where required.
  7. Issuing statements and copy documents to customers
  8. Resolution of queries and disputes to facilitate payments from customers
  9. Ensuring PODs are sent to customers according to predetermined SLAs
  10. Prepare weekly/monthly Debt reports for the Shareholders/Head of Finance
  11. Taking the lead in Customer Account set up and maintenance
  12. Receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, taking incoming calls, and sorting mail 

What our client is looking for in a Credit Controller:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  2. Competent with Microsoft packages including Excel - ESSENTIAL
  3. Previous ERP System experience - ESSENTIAL
  4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
