The Role – Fabricator

  • Working closely with the design team to manufacture and build new tooling, jigs and fixtures

The Role of the Machine Operator:

  • Working in a busy Manufacturing environment
  • Setting up the machinery
  • Minimising machine downtime
  • Making adjustments to settings on the machine where necessary
  • Carrying out basic machine maintenance where necessary and reporting issues to the Cell Leader
  • Ensuring machines are running efficiently

  • Previous Machine Operating experience - ESSENTIAL

The role - Stock Controller:

  • Manage the flow of customer orders through WMS
  • Monitor and move orders through WMS
  • Allocate stock to customer orders in accordance with available stock and customer requests
  • Communicate with Customer Service in regard to customer orders
  • Prioritise stock replenishment into pick locations
  • Liaise with IQC for stock releases for customer orders
  • Communicate with operational Cell Leaders
  • Report stock issues to Stock Control
  • Prioritise customer orders by need by date

The Role – Machine Operator:

  • Maintain good housekeeping and effective planning to ensure the machine does not stand due to lack of forward planning
  • Ensure materials are at the machine and readily available
  • Complete all documentation as required and communicate using the shift handover book together with verbal communication when taking over and handing over the shift
  • Follow procedures and tasks that have been given out by the full time staff
  • Report all machine faults as they occur
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Management
