Recruit4staff are representing a leading global packaging manufacturing business in their search for a Despatch Operative to work in Nottingham

Job Details:

Pay: £16.10 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, Days (9:00am - 5:00pm), with flexibility on start and finish times
Duration: Temporary (Approximately 2 weeks, with potential for extension for the right Despatch Operative)

Job Role: As a Despatch Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within a busy manufacturing environment. The Despatch Operative will handle incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods, operate forklift trucks, arrange transport for deliveries, and ensure full compliance with health & safety and quality procedures at all times.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a Despatch Operative or Warehouse Operative within a fast-paced despatch environment
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
Good level of PC literacy within a manufacturing setting

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Clamp truck licence
Experience in a similar Despatch Operative role within manufacturing

Additional Information

Opportunity for the role to be extended beyond the initial period
Working as part of a supportive warehouse and logistics team
