Recruit4staff are representing an established industrial business in their search for a Yard Operative to work in Deeside

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.39 per hour
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm 
  • Duration: Temp to Perm
  • Benefits: Opportunity for permanent employment
Job Role: The Yard Operative will be responsible for managing stock movement across site using a 360 excavator, ensuring materials are correctly rotated and stored. The Yard Operative will carry out daily inspections on machinery and work areas, maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency. Working closely with the weighbridge operator, the Yard Operative will help manage inbound and outbound materials while monitoring stock levels. This Yard Operative role involves working in a busy yard environment and ensuring plant equipment remains in good working condition.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Yard Operative using a 360 excavator
  • Previous experience operating a counterbalance FLT
  • Valid 360 ticket (in-house or external)

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house or external)
Additional Information
  • Working in an outdoor yard environment
  • Regular interaction with plant machinery and site operations
