Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a family-owned manufacturing company, in their search for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team based in Crewe.

What our Client is offering the successful CNC Turner 

• Up to £16.10 per hour DOE (Overtime available)
• 7:45am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12:45 finish on Friday
• Temporary to Permanent 
• Free parking

The Role - CNC Turner 

• Products are machined from material types including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, plastics, and composites.
• The Turner is required to programme and set up the machines to produce parts to the tolerances specified on customer drawings, in the most efficient manner. 
• Completing small bespoke orders and small batches 
• Programming the Lathe machines, both manually and using customer supplied files.
• Setting up the Lathe machines for most efficient production of the batch size required.
• Selection of the correct material type and grade from stores, maintaining traceability.
• Machining first-off samples for inspection.
• Operating several machines at the same time, if component run times permit.
• Carrying out routine maintenance of the allocated machine(s) against a TPM schedule.

• Previous experience working with CNC Turning/Lathes ESSENTIAL 
• Experience of working in an engineering machining environment for a minimum of 3 years. ESSENTIAL 
• Experience of programming and operating Lathe machines with FANUC controls ESSENTIAL 
• Experience of working on a lathe with live tooling BENEFICIAL
• Experience of working with a variety of material types.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, and determine the best approach to the component manufacture. ESSENTIAL
