Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Crewe

Job Details:

Pay: Up to £17.42 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5 of basic pay)
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week – 7:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm Friday
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: Early Finish Fridays, Pension, Free Parking, Flexible holiday bookings (Based on hours not days)

Job Role: The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls. This includes producing small bespoke orders and small batches, selecting appropriate materials, machining first-off samples, and maintaining traceability. The CNC Turner will also perform regular TPM-based maintenance and, where possible, manage multiple machines simultaneously.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

CNC Programming experience
CNC Setting & Operating of lathes
Ability to work from engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience of CNC Programming
Experience using FANUC controls
Experience working with CNC milling centres

Commutable From: Crewe, Sandbach, Nantwich, Stoke, Whitchurch, Middlewich, Knutsford, Congleton
