Manual Machinist

Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a well established engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist to work at their facility in Crewe

For the successful Manual Machinist our client is offering:

• Basic salary up to £35,000 per annum.
• Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm
• Permanent Role
• 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Rising to a maximum of 31 days + BH with service)
• Pension
• Overtime Available
• Free onsite parking 

The role - Manual Machinist:

• Setting and operating manual milling machines
• Setting and operating manual turning machines
• Tool making
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Making bespoke and small batch orders
• Working to tight tolerances 

What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist

• HNC/NVQ/City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent BENEFICIAL
• Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience of manual machining (Milling, lathes, turners) ESSENTIAL
• Time-served apprenticeship in manual machining/ tool making BENEFICIAL
• Grinding experience BENEFICIAL
