Recruit4staff are representing an established specialist engineering services business in their search for a General Business Support Administrator to work in Neston

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.50 
  • Hours of Work: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 4:00pm Friday
  • Duration: Temporary position (approx 8 weeks)
Job Role: As a General Business Support Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and project support to a busy team, ensuring reports, documentation and project information are produced accurately and efficiently. The General Business Support Administrator will review engineer paperwork, create reports and certificates using an AI system, maintain CRM records and spreadsheets, and provide day-to-day support to Project Managers. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organisation, accuracy and the ability to manage a high volume of daily tasks.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • The General Business Support Administrator must be able to produce a high volume of reports quickly and accurately without compromising attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm, organised and productive while managing a busy daily workload
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing engineer paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Confident updating spreadsheets and maintaining accurate project and job data
  • Ability to support Project Managers with supplier contact, spreadsheet updates, RAMS documentation and CRM job setup
  • Comfortable using digital systems to create reports and certificates and issue documentation to clients

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a General Business Support Administrator or within a similar administrative, project support or technical environment would be advantageous
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administration, NVQ Business Administration or BTEC Business Studies
  • ECDL / ICDL or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
  • Microsoft Excel Certification
  • IOSH Working Safely, Health & Safety Certification or RAMS Training
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Additional Information
  • The General Business Support Administrator will log potential remedial opportunities on the CRM system and provide general ad hoc administrative support as required
  • Temporary period expected to be approximately 8 weeks before the permanent opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team in our head office in Chester. You will support the delivery of the payroll function, ensuring all payroll processes are completed accurately, on time, and in line with payroll legislation and internal controls.
