Recruit4staff are representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Workshop Supervisor to work in Chester

Job Details:

  • Pay: £42,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 15:00
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Standard pension scheme, 28 days holiday
Job Role: As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the welding and fabrication department, including laser cutting machinery. The Fabrication Supervisor will lead and support a team of up to 15 Fabricator Welders, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently met. The successful Fabrication Supervisor will coordinate workloads across the shop floor, support fabrication and welding activities, and utilise their experience of laser machine programming to ensure efficient production processes.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience programming laser machines
  • Previous experience supervising a team of Fabricator Welders
  • NVQ Level 3 in Welding & Fabrication or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and welding processes required for a Fabrication Supervisor
