Production Operative

For the successful Production Operative our client is offering:

• £13.75 per hour 
• Shift Pattern-Week 1: Monday - Friday (6 am - 2 pm) & Saturday (6 am - 12 pm), Week 2:Monday - Friday (2 pm - 10 pm)
• Temp - Permanent opportunity
• Work in a family run expanding business

The Role -Production  Operative:

• Prepare and load metal components for the galvanising process.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.

What our client is looking for in a Production  Operative:

• Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and working in a hot environment.
• A strong team player with good communication skills.

• Monday to Thursday 6am-6pm - £12.41 p/h
• Monday to Friday 6am-6pm - £12.66 p/h
• Monday to Thursday Nights 6pm-6am- £13.71 p/h

For the successful Production Operative our client is offering:

The Role -Production  Operative:

• Responsible for all aspects of trailer manufacturing for Livestock product.
• Working in a production environment using hand and power tools
• Building trailers on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.
• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
• Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected
• Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

What our client is looking for in a Production  Operative:

• Previous experience of working in a production environment is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks - ESSENTIAL
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
