Job Details:

  • Pay: £12.30 per hour (Temporary)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 08:00‑16:15; Friday 08:00‑15:00
  • Duration: Temporary (14 weeks expected)
Job Role: As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, packing finished products, ensuring correct labelling, and loading machines with ingredients. Your role will be hands‑on, working on the production line to maintain output quality and safety.

What our client is looking for in a Production Operative:
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment - PREFERRED
  • Good attention to detail
  • Looking for a long-term position
  • Full training provided for all roles
  • Flexibility to work shifts when required

The Role -Production  Operative:

  • Responsible for all aspects of trailer manufacturing for Livestock product.
  • Working in a production environment using hand and power tools
  • Building trailers on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.
  • Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
  • Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected
  • Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

What our client is looking for in a Production  Operative:

  • Previous experience of working in a production environment using hand and power tools 
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.

Recruit4staff are representing an expanding food production business in their search for a Food Production Operatives to work in Corwen

Free transport from Wrexham, Oswestry, Chirk, Froncysyllte, and Llangollen (subject to limited availability)

  • Pay:
    • 6am–2pm Monday to Friday: £13.00 per hour (including a shift allowance)
    • 2pm–10pm Monday to Friday: £14.04 per hour (including a shift allowance)
    • 10pm–6am Sunday to Thursday: £15.10 per hour (including a shift allowance)
  • Hours of Work:
    • ADHOC shifts initually, possibility of moving onto full time hours.
  • Duration: Temp-to-perm position with the possibility to go permanent
  • Benefits: Free transport from Wrexham, Oswestry, Chirk, Froncysyllte, and Llangollen. Overtime available. Opportunity for progression.
Job Role: The Food Production Operatives will be responsible for operating machinery, packing and labelling food products, and loading ingredients into machines. You will work as part of a fast-paced team maintaining high standards of cleanliness and production accuracy.
