Laser Setter

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Laser Setter based in Dudley.

For the successful Laser Setter our client is offering:

• Starting pay rate of £13.50 on the Morning Shift & £14 per hour on the Afternoon shift
• 6am-2:30pm Monday to Friday and 2pm-11:30pm and Fridays 2pm-6pm, Rotating Weekly
• Temporary-Permanent position
• Overtime opportunities available on Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
• Free parking

 The role – Laser Setter:

• Setting & Operating a Bystronic based Laser machine
• Loading and unloading of material and cut parts
• Sorting of parts to customers
• Loading programs and raw materials
• Setting the machine to process various thickness of materials
• Reading engineering drawings

What our client is looking for in a Laser Setter:

• Experience of working on a Laser machine
• Highly advantageous if you've worked on Bystronic machinery
• It would be advantageous if you have a FLT Licence
• Previous fabrication experience
• Able to work from drawings
