Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for a Estimator, to work from their Flintshire based workshop and in various sites across North Wales/Cheshire.

What our client is offering for the successful Estimator:

  • Up to £50,000 basic salary (Negotiable depending upon experience)
  • 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Permanent Role
  • 24 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role - Estimator:

  • Assess the Financial, Technical and Operational risks of the enquiry/project.
  • Take new enquiries from initial costing through to delivery onto customer site.
  • Manage the clients and companies expectations in tandem to deliver success.
  • Increase company sales in line with company expectations.
  • Analysing and communicating latest data that can affect costs such as material pricing and Operational efficiency.
  • Discuss materials and negotiate best pricing with suppliers.
  • Meet with Clients to understand scope, cost and timeframe boundaries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to discuss costs, ideas and resource planning.

What we are looking for in an Estimator:

  • Good Technical/Engineering background including pipework and fabrication ESSENTIAL
  • Health & Safety skills – able to compose RAMS, IOSH BENIFICIAL 
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand materials and methods of manufacture. ESSENTIAL
  • Proficient in MS Office software. ESSENTIAL
