Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known Structural Steel Fabrication company in their search for a Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Mold.

Job Role:

As a Machine Operator, you will be working from instructions to set up machinery, use hand and power tools, and perform sanding or grinding of components to remove splatter. You will also be responsible for operating machinery, including some CNC work, carrying out quality checks on finished products, and ensuring all quality assurance and manual handling processes are followed.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Duration: Temporary to Permanent
  • Overtime Rules: x1.5 for all hours

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Experience in operating engineering machinery

  • Carrying out manufacturing operations in line with stringent quality assurance and regulatory standards
What our client is looking for in a Science Graduate:
  • Recent Science Degree Qualification, ideally in Biology - ESSENTIAL
  • Knowledge of Aseptic processes
  • Willingness to learn manufacturing techniques and procedures
  • Interested in a career in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals - ESSENTIAL

For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:

  • £13.18  per hour , plus shift allowance on night shift (hours worked from 10pm-6am are paid at £14.73 p/h)
  • Shift Rotation Monday  - Thursday 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
  • Temp to Perm position
  • On site parking 
  • Long weekend every week.

The role –Machine Operative :

  • Running machines to produce Packaging for the FMCG industry
  • Machine minding
  • Loading & Unloading machines
  • Making sure products are produced to the required standard
  • General housekeeping duties

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :

  • Previous Machine Operating experience within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience of working in a food production environment - BENEFICIAL
  • Demonstrable amount of experience in a Manufacturing role.

Job Role: Operating a range of CNC milling machines, selecting and loading programs to machining centres, and inspecting both the quantity and quality of finished components. The role involves interpreting diagrams and instructions, checking work against specifications, and adjusting HAAS controls as necessary. You will follow detailed production instructions while ensuring machines are accurately set and maintained.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £29,000 - £36,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 7am - 12.30pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Overtime available, half day Friday

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience setting and operating CNC milling or CNC turning machines
  • Background in industrial manufacturing or precision engineering

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with HAAS or Citizen machines
