Machine Operator

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering:

• £11.75 per hour + £1 per hour shift allowance 
• 4 on 4 off, days and nights (6 to 6), with an average of 42 hours per week
• 12-week complete training period
• Immediate interviews available

The role – Machine Operator:

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines according to production specifications
• Identify and resolve minor faults or mechanical issues in the production process
• Load raw materials into the extrusion machines and ensure proper material flow
• Quality checking products
• Manual Handling
• Packing of finished products
• Assisting with deliveries if required

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and machine operating -  ESSENTIAL
• Experience of machine setting & operating  - ESSENTIAL
• Be physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
• Willingness to work day & night shifts
• Driving license - Desirable

For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:

• £13.18  per hour , plus shift allowance on night shift (hours worked from 10pm-6am are paid at £14.73 p/h)
• Shift Rotation Monday  - Thursday 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
• Temp to Perm position
• On site parking 
• Long weekend every week.

The role –Machine Operative :

• Running machines to produce Packaging for the FMCG industry
• Machine minding
• Loading & Unloading machines
• Making sure products are produced to the required standard
• General housekeeping duties

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :

• Previous Machine Operating experience within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience of working in a food production environment - BENEFICIAL
• Demonstrable amount of experience in a Manufacturing role.

• Recent Science Degree Qualification, ideally in Biology - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of Aseptic processes
• Willingness to learn manufacturing techniques and procedures
• Interested in a career in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals - ESSENTIAL
• Flexibility with shifts willing to work as the shifts are likely to change to Monday to Friday days - ESSENTIAL

• £14.87 per hour 
• Monday to Friday, Days role, Typically 7 am - 3 pm however flexibility will be required
