What our client is offering for the successful Mechanical Assembly Operative :

• £25,626 per annum 
• 37 hours per week, Flexible Shift patterns (5 day week/ 4 Day weeks shift patterns)
• Permanent Position
• Free tea & coffee in the canteen
• 185 hours holiday allowance
• Pension contribution of up to 6%
• Regular progress reviews and potential pay increases
• Free parking

The Role - Mechanical Assembly Operative 

• Assembly of mechanical and hydraulic parts and components
• Following standard operating procedures
• Using hand and power tools
• Visual inspection of products
• Maintaining production paperwork for traceability
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Working to production targets

What our client is looking for in an Mechanical Assembly Operative 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly role ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience using hand & power tools ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working to SOPs ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience and understanding of escalation procedures
• Ability to pass a high level security check ESSENTIAL
• Strong and demonstrable attention to detail in the creation and testing of electrical and hydraulic components - ESSENTIAL
