Job Details:

  • Pay: £48,438 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday–Thursday, 07:00–15:30; Friday, 07:00–12:30
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Uncapped bonus scheme, standard pension and 25 days’ annual leave
Job Role: As a Pipefitter, you will work on high-quality pipework fabrications, supporting a team of welders within a workshop environment. The Pipefitter will assemble and prepare pipework and pipe spools for welding, completing work for HPC and Sizewell C contracts.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • The Pipefitter must have completed a recognised apprenticeship (ECITB, CITB or NASEC) or hold a Level 3 Diploma in Pipefitting
  • The Pipefitter must have experience assembling pipework and pipe spools and preparing them for welding
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

  • Time-served or formally trained Pipefitter, holding a Level 3 qualification in pipefitting, mechanical installation or a closely related discipline, such as City & Guilds, NVQ or another relevant qualification

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Slinger/Signaller (CPCS) qualification
  • Appointed Person or Lift Supervisor qualification (CPCS or NPORS)
  • IPAF 3a and 3b
  • Previous experience supporting Pipefitter installation work across multiple customer sites would be advantageous

Job Details:

  • Pay: £20 per hour PAYE / £26 per hour CIS/LTD (travel/digs payments provided)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Duration: Temporary (ongoing)
Job Role: The Site Supervisor will supervise, direct and organise a team of fitters, erectors, welders and mates, allocating labour to meet the site programme. As Site Supervisor, you will brief teams on RAMS, permits, lift plans and site rules, carry out point-of-work risk assessments, toolbox talks and daily briefings, and monitor safe working throughout each shift. The Site Supervisor will also control the quality and progress of installations, manage materials and equipment, maintain site records and liaise with the client, principal contractor and other trades.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous pipe fitting and site installation experience, including experience leading a team in a Site Supervisor or similar capacity
  • Valid and in-date CITB SSSTS certificate
  • Time-served or formally trained pipefitter with a Level 3 qualification in pipefitting, mechanical installation or a closely related discipline
  • City & Guilds, NVQ or other relevant qualification
  • Valid CSCS Blue or CCNSG card
  • Valid PASMA card for mobile access towers
  • Strong understanding of site safety, workmanship standards and team supervision expected of a Site Supervisor

  • CSCS Gold Supervisor card, 
  • Appointed Person or Lift Supervisor certification (CPCS or NPORS)
  • Temporary Works Coordinator training
  • First Aid at Work
  • Slinger/Signaller (CPCS) qualification
  • IPAF 3a & 3b
