Recruit4staff are representing a well-established structural steel fabrication company in their search for a Plater to work near Deeside

Job Details:

• Pay: £25.00 per hour CIS (Overtime paid at £30.00 per hour)
• Hours of Work: AM Shift - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / PM Shift - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 00:00
• Duration: Temporary (8-week contract)
• Benefits: Immediate starts available, overtime available, free parking

Job Role: As a Plater, you will be responsible producing high-quality fabricated steel components from engineering drawings. The Plater will be responsible for marking out, fitting and assembling structural steelwork while carrying out MIG welding to a coded standard where required. You will be expected to maintain excellent quality standards and work safely within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Plater
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• MIG welding to a coded standard
• Eligible to work on a CIS Self-Employed basis
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate desirable
• Valid Abrasive Wheels Certificate desirable

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Qualifications in Welding & Fabrication, Platework or a related engineering discipline
