Job Details:

  • Pay: Negotiable (20% shift allowance on evenings between 6pm and 1am)
  • Hours of Work: Days - 7:30 to 4:30 with a 12:30 finish on Friday. Evenings - 4pm to 1am Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 5pm on Friday
  • Duration: Permanent
Job Role: As a CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for the operation and setting of CNC machining centres and CNC lathes to produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and customer requirements. You will ensure compliance with quality procedures, support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain accurate records, and work closely with the CNC Team Leader and QA personnel. This role also involves start-up and shut-down processes, stock control, ERP recording, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience setting and operating CNC machines
  • Skilled in using relevant gauges and measuring equipment to meet required quality standards

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established local authority business in their search for a HGV 2 Driver to work in Wrexham

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.82 per hour (x 1.5 overtime)
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3:15pm, Friday - 7am - 2:45pm. Do not work Bank Holidays - will be required to work the following Saturday
  • Duration: Temp To Perm (12 weeks)
Job Role: Operating a Class 2 vehicle, typically a 32-tonne refuse or recycling truck. Duties include collecting waste or recycling from both residential and commercial properties across the borough, following designated council-set routes and schedules, and working with a team of loaders. The driver is responsible for daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any vehicle or route issues, all while adhering to health and safety standards and council policies. Strong public service skills are important as drivers frequently interact with residents.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Good local knowledge of Wrexham and surrounding areas
  • Ability to work early mornings and in all weather conditions
  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
