Job Details:

  • Pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Process Engineer, you will lead CAPEX projects and provide process engineering support across manufacturing departments. The Process Engineer will help ensure process equipment remains in a qualified state, drive continuous improvement activities to maximise manufacturing efficiency, contribute to process hazard reviews and champion the Process Safety Management system.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • The successful Process Engineer will have CAPEX project experience
  • PLC experience
  • Experience working with flexible distributed control systems
  • Chemical Engineering qualification or similar

  • Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Experience working within quality management systems
  • Experience managing improvement projects from concept through to implementation
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a similar discipline
  • The Process Engineer will require a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement qualifications relevant to a Process Engineer position
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
