Fabricator Welder

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Burnley

For the successful Fabricator Welder our client is offering;

1. Starting pay rate of £13 - £17 per hour PAYE (Depending on skillset & experience)
2. Full-time hours Monday to Friday (days)
3. Temp to Perm
4. Overtime is available
5. Potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate

The Role - Fabricator Welder

1. Welding on mild steel and stainless steel
2. MIG & TIG Welding
3. Complete fabrication in the workshop & on-site
4. Steelwork and process pipework fabrication
5. Working from engineering drawing
6. Site project work
7. Onsite installation, fitting, and maintenance

1. City & Guilds/NVQ in fabrication or welding or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification
2. Current or previous codings in MIG or TIG welding BENEFICIAL
3. Minimum of 3-5 years post apprentice experience in a related industry
4. Ability to read engineering drawings, produce cutting lists, then produce fabrications unaided
5. Competent in the use of workshop machinery - saws, grinders, drills etc.
6. Previous experience with Pipe welding/ Pipefitting BENEFICIAL
7. Full UK driving licence
8. CSCS/ CCNSG or equivalent BENEFICIAL
9. Previous experience in a similar role covering both workshop and site work
