Recruit4staff are representing an established drinks manufacturing business in their search for an FLT Driver to work in Knighton, Powys

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.10 per hour
  • Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm (2 blocks of days / 2 blocks of nights)
  • Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading wagons, transporting goods from the production lines, replenishing stock, and operating palletiser equipment. This FLT Driver position plays an important part in keeping production moving efficiently and safely across the site.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar FLT Driver role
  • FLT Counterbalance experience
  • FLT Counterbalance in-house or external licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Computer literacy
  • COSHH awareness
  • First aid certification
  • FLT Reach experience

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.30 per hour (including 12.5% shift allowance)

Job Role: As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for unloading production lines, moving finished goods between storage and dispatch areas, loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring materials are handled safely throughout the manufacturing facility. The FLT Driver will carry out daily MHE inspections, maintain warehouse standards, use the warehouse management system, support stock rotation and work in line with all Health & Safety procedures. This FLT Driver opportunity offers long-term prospects within a busy manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Counterbalance FLT certificate is essential
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience using warehouse management systems
  • Commitment to Health & Safety procedures

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • SAP experience is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Reach Truck certificate is desirable (full training will be provided as this will become an essential requirement)
Additional Information
  • Daily MHE inspections and defect reporting
  • Report damage to trucks, buildings and racking
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards
  • Support stock rotation and warehouse operations
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to meet operational requirements
