Production Operative

• Pay Rate £12.31 per hour 
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm 
• Temp to Perm
• Can be slightly flexible with start and finish times

• Select pigment dyes according to the Pantone reference chosen by the customer.
• Colour swatch on the correct textiles & dry for accurate colour matching.
• Working quickly but accurately to keep up with all colours required for production.
• Preparing appropriate quantity of material needed for print runs and mixing accordingly.
• Sign-off colour of first prints ensuring accuracy to order requirements.
• Maintain stock levels of pigments, binder and associated materials.
• Purchase supplies, creating purchase orders, chasing deliveries and justifying costs.
• Deputise for screen maker to cover periods of absence and excess workload.
• Introduce new materials and techniques to process.
• Liaise with Studio team to review aesthetics and accuracy of design interpretation and proposed technique to be applied.
• Support print process during times of staff absence or excess workload.
• Assist in any reasonable activity relative to the everyday running of the company

• Experience of colour preparation and matching standard reference material
• Competent with current I.T. practices and Microsoft applications.
• Tidy and methodical.
• Flexible and adaptable
