Welder Fabricator

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Welder Fabricator to work in their leading facility in Newtown.

For the successful Welder Fabricator client is offering:

• £32,000 per Annum
• 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
• Permanent position
• Up to 24 days holiday + bank holidays
• Uniform provided

The role of the Welder Fabricator;

• Mild Steel MIG Welding, Fabrication, preparing metal for machine assembly
• Some TIG welding may be required.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as Guillotine, Saw, Punch and Drill to shear, cut, punch, drill or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Study engineering drawings to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
• Responsible for adhering to Health and Safety standards and Policy.

What our client is looking for in a Welder Fabricator;

• Proven fabrication competency skills and certification (NVQ or similar qualification)
• The ability to read engineering drawings is essential.
• FLT license - PREFERRED.
•  Enthusiastic and conscientious person
• Capable of working under minimal supervision and to deadlines
