Electrical Technician

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well established manufacturing company in their search for an Electrical Technician to work in their leading facility in West Bromwich.

For the successful Electrical Technician our client is offering:

• £31,900- £33,600 per annum DOE
• Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM
• Permanent position within a rapidly expanding company
• Free parking
• Ongoing training

The Role - Electrical Technician:

• Preventative and Electrical Maintenance within an Industrial Environment
• Installation plant and Modification work
• Use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
• Interpretation of Engineering drawings
• Carry out statutory Inspections

What our client is looking for in a Electrical Technician:

• Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline as a minimum - ESSENTIAL
• Must have the ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works- ESSENTIAL
• 18th edition electrical wiring regulations - ESSENTIAL
• Ideally you would have training in MEWP's- PREFFERED
• Ideally you would have a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship- PREFFERED
• Good understanding of ATEX requirements - PREFERRED
