Mechanical Fitter

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well established manufacturing company in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in their leading facility in West Bromwich.

For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

• £28,800- £31,900 per annum DOE
• Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM
• Permanent position within a rapidly expanding company
• Free parking
• Ongoing training

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

• Carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance
• Carrying out repairs to machinery on site
• Mechanical Installation and modification work
• Carry out statutory inspections - pressure testing, plant integrity and commissioning.
• Use of computerised maintenance management system

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter:

• Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline as a minimum - ESSENTIAL
• Ability to use and interpret engineering drawings - ESSENTIAL
• Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship - PREFERRED
• Ideally you would have training in MEWP's, Abrasive Wheels, Welding Equipment and Confined Spaces- PREFFERED
• Ideally you would have a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship- PREFFERED
