Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to work in Oswestry

Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Day shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with the potential future development into alternative shifts.
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Engineering Apprenticeship course at the local college, standard pension, 28 days holiday including statutory bank holidays.

Job Role: This is an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to begin a rewarding engineering career within manufacturing. Working alongside experienced Engineers, the Apprentice Multi-Skilled Engineer will assist with breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement projects, engineering documentation, stock monitoring and maintaining high Health & Safety standards. The Apprentice Multi-Skilled Engineer will receive ongoing training and support while developing the skills required to become a fully qualified maintenance professional.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Keen interest in progressing into a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering career.
  • Currently undertaking or have completed a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent, within an engineering discipline. (Preferably Electrical) 
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
