Auto Electrician

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading packaging company in their search for an Auto-Electrician to work in their leading facility in Oswestry.

For the successful Auto-Electrician, our client is offering:

• Competitive salary paying up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience
• Monday to Friday - 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays
• Permanent position
• Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours.
• Free parking

Auto-Electrician Job Duties:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on new commercial vehicles, while observing all statutory and legal requirements
• Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
• Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards

What our client is looking for in an Auto-Electrician:

• Knowledge of electrical vehicle maintenance standards required for HGV operation.
• City & Guilds Part 3 in motor vehicles studies or similar would be advantageous
• Experienced in the diagnostic, electrical repair, and maintenance of all types of large and small commercial vehicles and bodies
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety and its impact in vehicle repair operations
