For successful Food Production Operatives, our client is offering:
  • £13.87 per hour
  • 3 days, 3 off, 3 nights shift pattern 5.50am - 5.50pm and 5.50pm - 5.50am
  • Temporary ongoing position with potential to become permanent
  • Paid Breaks

The role - Food Production Operatives

  • Operating production equipment
  • Working on fast paced production lines
  • Packing
  • Working to targets
  • Using production IT systems
  • Working to strict food Hygiene standards.

What our client is looking for in Food Production Operatives :

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment - DESIRABLE
  • Working to strict food Hygiene standards.
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Must have a good basic level of English
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

The Role -Production  Operative:

  • Responsible for all aspects of trailer manufacturing for Livestock product.
  • Working in a production environment using hand and power tools
  • Building trailers on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.
  • Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
  • Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected
  • Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

What our client is looking for in a Production  Operative:

  • Previous experience of working in a production environment using hand and power tools 
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
