Machine Operator

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading FMCG company, in their search for a Production Operative to work at their industry leading facility in Oswestry.

For the successful Machine Operator, our client is offering:

£35,000 per annum starting salary, rising to up to £40,000 after completing 12 weeks probation
3 on 3 off 5.50am to 5.50 pm and 5.50pm to 5.50am (3 days/3 nights)
Opportunity for progression

The role - Machine Operator:

To operate production machinery safely to produce the product to the correct customer specification
Ensure that all Quality Assurance checks are carried out
Analyse and adhere to a production plan
Picking and packing
Working towards targets
Using production IT systems
Working to strict Food Hygiene standards

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
Machine operating experience - ESSENTIAL
Food manufacturing experience - DESIRABLE
Demonstratable stability in work history
Strong attention to detail
Good computer skills
Must be punctual and reliable and willing to work days and nights
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
