Machinist

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Machinist to work in their leading facility in Wem.

For the successful Machinist, our client is offering;

• Up to £14.00 per hour
• 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday, early finish Friday
• Temporary - Permanent Opportunity
• Overtime paid at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday & Double time Sunday
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays (once full-time)

The role – Machinist;

• Operating Manual Machines in the Workshop
• Working from engineering drawings
• Daily use of angle grinders
• Working on one-off pieces and other small batch work.
• Daily use of measuring equipment including gauges and verniers

What our client is looking for in a Machinist;

• Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working with Sheet Metal - DESIRABLE 
• Experience working in an engineering environment - DESIRABLE
