Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work in their leading facility in Shawbury.

For the successful Warehouse Operative, our client is offering:

  • £13.00 per hour - Annual salary of £32,110
  • Hours 7 AM to 5.30 PM Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required
  • Temporary to Permanent
  • Free parking

The Role – Warehouse Operative:

  • Use of an Electric Pallet Truck daily
  • Storing of products in the correct locations
  • Loading and unloading of lorries
  • Picking
  • Ensuring production is stocked with the correct quantity of products
  • Palletising
  • Stock taking / Inventory of products

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

  • The FLT Counterbalance Licence is highly advantageous, but our client will provide training
  • Experience with an Electric Pallet Truck
  • Own transport is highly advantageous due to the location
  • Must be IT Literate
  • Familiar with food hygiene standards/procedures

  • Manual handling
  • Meeting daily pick targets
  • Using a wrapping machine 

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse FLT Operative;

  • Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  • FLT Counterbalance - ESSENTIAL
  • FLT Bendi - Highly advantageous
  • Possess an excellent attitude, with a willingness to learn
  • Able to integrate in a small team
