Workshop Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for Workshop Engineers to work in Oswestry.

For the successful Workshop Engineers, our client is offering:

• £27,600 - £32,500 DOE
• 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday
• Permanent position
• Free Parking
• Annual pay review in January (After probation)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

The Role – Workshop Engineer:

• Working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems 
• Service, maintain & repair A variety of machines, HGV, vans & car fleet 
• Attend external site jobs as required.
• Co-ordinate parts ordering with the service controller for jobs on-site & jobs you are responsible for
• Adhere to all health & safety requirements with the workshop & customer's site.

What our client is looking for in a Workshop Engineer:

• Experienced and qualified in working with relevant mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Level 3 in Mechanics or Motor Vehicles 
• Experience and knowledge of heavy-duty plant machinery, I.E FLT, Cranes, and Agricultural machinery
• Hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification.
• Possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
