Workshop Fitter

Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Workshop Fitter to work in their leading facility in Oswestry.

• Competitive salary paying up to £31,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday (Days 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays)
• Permanent position
• Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours.
• Temporary ongoing position (Possible permanent position for the right candidates)

The Role - Workshop Fitter:

• Assembling & Fitting duties
• Hydraulics work
• Working from engineering drawings
• Use of hand and power tools
• Carrying out necessary repairs where required
• Carrying out installation work (Fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons)

What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter:

• Good Engineering knowledge
• Knowledge of Hydraulics
• Experienced working from engineering drawing
• Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous.
