Yards Person

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Yards Person to work at their facility near Bridgnorth.

For the successful Yards Person our client is offering;

• Starting pay rate of £13 per hour
• Day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) 7am-5pm with a 11:30am finish on Fridays
• Temporary ongoing position
• Overtime is paid at premium rates x1.33 during the week , x1.5 for working Saturdays & x2 for working Sundays - Applicable once 40 hours have been completed

The Role of the Yards Person will include:

• Loading and unloading of products
• Storing of products into the correct locations
• Assisting the Engineering team with general duties (Riveting / Bolting up / Assembly)
• Packing
• Labelling of products
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Working out in the yard & in the Workshop too
• Following health & safety guidelines

What our client is looking for in a Yards Person;

• FLT Counterbalance license - ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Driving License - HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS DUE TO THE LOCATION
• Overhead Crane is advantageous
