Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a MIG Welder to work in St Helens

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.17 per hour + (Attendance bonus)
  • Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.45am – 12.45pm
  • Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: The MIG Welder will be responsible for welding mild steel components, manufacturing stillages and bins, working to production targets, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. You will use JIGS for welding and may work either independently or as part of a 2-man team.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • MIG Welding

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • C&G/NVQ in Welding or relevant mechanical engineering discipline
  • Previously coded as a MIG Welder

The Welder Fabricator will also be expected to carry out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet required standards. This Welder Fabricator role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and workmanship.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as a Welder Fabricator
  • Proven ability in MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong experience in steel fabrication
  • C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Fabrication & Welding

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previously coded in MIG or TIG welding
  • Experience within the roller shutter or doors industry
