Recruit4staff are representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Spray Painter to work in St Helens

Job Details:

Pay: Up to £14 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Duration: Temp to Perm (14 weeks)
Benefits: Permanent staff are eligible for a company profit share bonus scheme

Job Role: As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for manually spray painting steel components and structures to the required standard. The role will involve quality checking finished work, assisting within the workshop and stores as required, and carrying out manual handling duties. The Spray Painter will work as part of the wider workshop team to support day-to-day production requirements.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a Spray Painter, paint sprayer or within a similar metal spray painting role
Previous experience spray painting metal or similar materials
Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling work

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Previous Spray Painter experience within a manufacturing, engineering or workshop environment
Experience operating an overhead crane
FLT experience
Experience setting and operating machinery
Experience fabricating metal

This Spray Painter position is a Temp to Perm opportunity

NVQs in Engineering Disciplines
