Job Details:

Pay: Up to £14 per hour (Depending on experience & qualifications)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Overtime is available and paid at x1.5
Duration: Temp to Perm

Job Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you will work within a busy steel stockholder environment, carrying out goods in and goods out duties. The role will involve operating an overhead crane and counterbalance forklift truck, loading and unloading wagons with steel, and assisting with the operation of band saw and laser cutting machinery when required. The Warehouse Operative will also carry out stock-related duties, including label changes and batch changes.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Previous experience working in an industrial warehouse or stores environment
Experience operating an overhead crane within a Warehouse Operative or similar industrial role
Counterbalance forklift experience
Experience setting and operating a band saw and/or laser cutter

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Overhead crane licence relevant to a Warehouse Operative position
FLT licence

Additional Information

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity
Permanent staff are eligible for a company profit share bonus scheme

A FLT Counterbalance licence is essential for the Warehouse Operative with FLT Licence position (Expired licenced will still be considered)
Ability to work effectively within a busy factory and warehouse environment
