For the successful Line Leader our client is offering;

£34,669.44 per annum
4 on 3 off, 12 hour shifts 06:00 to 18:00

As a Line Leader your responsibilities will be:

Liaise with QA team, Senior Line Leader and Production Manager to be aware of potential raw material and finished goods quality issues.
Set up job / batch for processing
Record all raw / packing materials usage
Ensure and validate the date code and country of origin information
Ensure there are sufficient raw material stock levels for the lines to run.
Ensure that all production-related paperwork is completed and jobs have been signed off and closed.
Coach, mentor, organise & take charge of a team of production operatives.
Communicate line processing targets to the machine operative.
Any other duties deemed necessary to the needs of the business.

What our client is looking for in a Line Leader:

Previous experience as a Line Leader/ Supervisor in a food environment - ESSENTIAL
Aspirations and willingness to train to progress up the supervisory / production management ladder- PREFERRED
Prepared to demonstrate flexibility in your role and assist the Production Management team- ESSENTIAL
Attention to detail when documenting data.
Internal Auditor and HACCP trained- ADVANTAGEOUS
Able to motivate a team.
Good knowledge of Fresh Produce.
Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety.

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will be:

Set up the machinery to the correct tolerances for the production run
Ensure Quality standards are adhered to and issues to be escalated to Line Leaders and/or QA.
Ensure the correct packaging is used per production run and this is checked and validated by the Line Leader
Ensure the date code information is input correctly
Ensure there are sufficient raw material stock levels for the lines to run.
Complete any relevant paperwork
Ensuring that all lines and machines are set up ready to run for the following shift when ending the current shift.

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

Previous experience as a Machine Operator in Food enviroment - ESSENTIAL
Good level of spoken English with clear ability to read and write- ESSENTIAL
Attention to detail in all aspects of operating machinery- ESSENTIAL
Must understand that the shift can vary as you may be required to do overtime or finish earlier when the work is complete, flexibility is essential
Good communication skills.
Team Player
Flexible and positive in approach.
Good attitude towards Health and Safety.
