FLT Combi Driver

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well known business in their search for a FLT Combi Driver to work in their leading facility in Stoke.

For the successful FLT Combi Driver our client is offering:

• Temporary to Permanent role
• Days based 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Overtime opportunities
• Starting rate of £14.47 - £15.07 depending on experience
• Ongoing training & development

The role – FLT Combi Driver:

• Loading & unloading materials from delivery vehicles into designated areas
• Transport long, heavy & awkward loads, these can include: Steel Sections, Metal Components, Timber, Pipes, Chassis Components or Fabricated Products
• Moving materials between Stores, Production Lines & Manufacturing departments
• Safely transporting loads through the factory 
• Carry out pre-use checks on the Sideloader and reporting any defects
• Checking loads are secure & balanced within the trucks capacity
• Following Health & Safety rules and regulations
• Working closely with the Logistics Teams

What our client is looking for in a FLT Combi Driver:

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Must hold a Combilift / Multidirectional Licence - ESSENTIAL
• If you hold experience but don't have the licence our client may considering training you, depending on the amount of experience held
• Our client will consider an experienced FLT Driver who has worked with Large or Unusual Loads
• Strong attention to details
• Able to follow H&S regulations
